Happy May Day! In the olden days I hear people had the day off and spent it with family and friends having picnics and dancing around a May Pole. I’m not much for dancing but I can get behind a good picnic. My basket is loaded and ready to go. Since the family is traveling…again…I have plenty of food if anyone would like to join me besides my pet sitter.
This past week I noticed spring is springing and flowers are coming out. These daffodils are so happy and pretty looking!
Tulips are popping out of the ground and the flowers are about ready to really open up. They are always so pretty!
Lots of trees are getting flowers if they are not getting green leaves. I don’t know what these are but they are pretty.
Finally in my walking this past week I ran into this guy on a lawn. Now he certainly looks like spring and summer! Hope you have some kind of May Day celebration today and a wonderful first weekend in May too!
