Meet Ntina.
Ntina is a 3.5 year old female Kangal Shepherd Dog. She would prefer to be the only dog in the home and can live with children over the age of 12. She is currently located in Cyprus.
Kangal Shepherd Dogs often find themselves in shelters, abandoned due to their size. We made a promise to help find them all loving homes. Here are two Kangal Shepherd Dogs who ended up in the same shelter.
Next up is Ntina. She adores people, cuddles, and attention. She is slightly bigger than Keith, weighing approximately 50 kilograms. Ntina is easy to get along with and is much loved by the shelter staff and volunteers.
She was found as a stray, and it is hard to understand how anyone could abandon a dog and leave her to fend for herself, especially a dog of her size and with her thick coat.
Temperatures of 40 degrees on the streets of Cyprus in summer could not have been easy for her.
Ntina is friendly and placid with people and children, but due to her size she will need an experienced handler, and any children in the home must be over 12 years old. She needs a home where she can enjoy plenty of cuddles as well as long walks.
Ntina needs to be the only dog, as she can be selective around other dogs. Given her temperament, she would likely be happiest as the only dog in the home.
