Meet adoptable deaf 4 month old Catahoula/heeler/Aussie mix puppy Greyson who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, make daily positive reinforcement sign training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep him safe.

From his rescue advocate: Greyson came to me as an owner surrender when he was about 6 weeks old along with 8 siblings. He is 16 weeks old now and weighs about 20 lbs. He gets his name because of his big grey spot around his tail and on his ears. He has one half moon blue eye. He’s had 3 rounds of vaccines, dewormed, and is on Nexgard Plus. He has not been neutered yet. We spay/neuter all of our dogs before adoption is 100% complete. Greyson was adopted (on a foster to adopt basis) and returned recently when his adopter noticed he wasn’t able to hear while training with cattle. I had absolutely no clue. Greyson has always been just a happy go lucky puppy showing no signs of being deaf. He is very energetic.

Greyson has been in an outside kennel so not sure how he is inside. He will follow me in the house some times and does fine. Him and the other foster pups gets plenty of out of kennel play time almost daily. He loves to run and play with them but he does not like when they try to steal his treats. He also likes to stay close by my side at times. He loves playing with toys and big stuffed animals. He has been around my 4 year old grandson daily. He just has started chasing my cats. Just for fun right now. I’m trying to teach him to stop.

Greyson does good on a leash. He seems to love everyone he comes in contact with but does bark sometimes when he first sees new people. I have not had any trouble with him getting startled when I come up behind him and touch him, that’s why I had no clue he was deaf. He’s just a wonderful pup. Greyson is a Merle color Catahoula/Heeler/Aussie mix.
