If you’re a fan of actor Chris Evans, you know that he’s a devoted dog dad to his beloved rescue pup, Dodger. In a recent interview with The Dodo, he revealed how his furry friend is adapting to the role of big brother to his 10-month-old daughter, Alma Grace, whom he shares with his wife, Alba Baptista.
“He’s been incredible. He’s so loving. He’s so protective. He’ll sleep outside her room when she’s napping,” gushed Evans.
The Avengers actor then explained that his canine companion, who is now about 11 years old, “has a great instinct for, you know, young things, whether it’s a person or a puppy.”
“He’s very gentle. My sister’s kids, back when I first brought him home over 10 years ago, my sister’s kids were much younger, and he was so, you know, tug-of-war with me is a battle. Tug-of-war with my niece, he just he knew how to turn the volume down. It was really sweet. And he’s done that with my daughter, and it warms the heart,” continued the actor.
