Rolo is a 5year male pointer located in Spain.
Rolo is a gorgeous, medium-sized, adorable Pointer boy, with an all black, sleek coat. Rolo is such a lovely dog, who hasn’t had a very nice life so far. He’s a typical Pointer: strong, energetic, friendly and affectionate.
He is not at all aggressive, but he is quite boisterous! Rolo is obliging on the lead, he pulls at first, because he is so happy to be out and free, but soon becomes more manageable.
We are working with more training on the lead.He is 65cm at the shoulder and about 27 kilos. He is a gentle boy and loves affection and attention from the people who visit him.
Poor Rolo belongs to an elderly man, who used to use him for hunting. However, the man can no longer get about, and he has left Rolo to live on his own, in a pen on a piece of land outside the village.
The man’s daughter-in-law feels very sorry for Rolo and she visits as often as she can (twice a week) to feed him and let him out of the pen for a run around, which he adores.
But poor boy spends 90% of his time alone. He is lonely and frustrated. He longs for human company and has so much to give to his new owner.
Rolo is not cat tested and hasn´t shared with other male dogs up to now, but he has a good nature and would equally be suited as an only dog or with another female.
We think he would thrive in a loving home, with some much deserved TLC and a garden to plod around in he will make a loyal, loving family pet. We think children over 10 would fit with Rolo well.
Energetic and great with people and dogs. Happiest when out walking and getting fuss.
