Happiness is truly chasing a plastic bag or three! Last month I ran CAT, Coursing Ability Test, and earned my CA, Coursing Ability Title. The other day we finally got my photos from my runs from Brian Batista Photography and purchased some of them. We chose some of our favorites to post for you. It is different form FastCAT as that is a straight one hundred yards. CAT is a course with curves and it is six hundred yards long. I was out of my mind excited chasing the bags.
Mom was my releaser and catcher since a dog starts and ends at the same spot. She used my FastCAT speed release for the first time as she has always been my catcher. The guy in the photo is the one that does the “Tally Ho” so Mom knows when to pull my release cord.
I fly around the course and stay totally focused on the lure moving around. Mom loves my eyes in all the photos, how they are so intense.
This photo shows two of the three bags on the lure that I am chasing. My mouth is open as I do my hunting call the whole time I’m running.
Here my ears are flying. I’m completely focused on the hunt.
Still rounding the corner, determined to catch those bags.
It is no wonder I was worn out after doing two CATs back to back as I really put my all into capturing those bags.
Here I go flying along again. Who knew chasing a plastic bag could be so exciting!
At the end of the run, I get to catch the bag but Mom has to get me off of it quickly. Catching is allowed but tearing or destroying any of the bags is frowned upon. You can see I love CAT! Hope you enjoyed my photos. In case you are wondering, the orange cones are the start line.
My GBGV Life is happy, so we’re joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday!
