Tiana is a 2 year old female Poodle Cross, a medium sized girl who has blossomed into a lively and joyful dog after a very difficult start.
How a dog like Tiana ends up in a public pound is one of those questions that never really finds an answer.
When we first saw her, it was painful to look.
She was soaked through, her thin black coat clinging to a tiny body where every bone showed. A fragile frame, trembling from cold and fear, standing quietly in a place far too harsh for a dog like her.
She looked like a small shadow of the dog she was meant to be.
But Tiana held on.
With warmth, food, and the safety she had been missing for so long, something beautiful began to return. Slowly at first — a wag of the tail, a curious glance, a little spark of mischief.
And then suddenly there she was. The real Tiana. Playful, cheeky, lively.
The kind of dog who wakes up ready to run, to explore, to make friends with everyone around her. She bursts into joyful zoomies across the yard, then runs straight back to check if you are watching.
She loves interaction. Loves treats. Loves learning. She is bright, trainable, and wonderfully social with other dogs.
There is something contagious about her spirit — that extroverted, happy energy that fills the space around her.
To think that such a joyful little soul was once standing soaked and forgotten behind bars.
