Bianca is a 3-year-old female Husky-Cross. This medium-large girl, weighing approximately 25kg, has already been through more than most dogs should ever have to.
Found starving and alone on the streets of Cyprus, she was so desperate for food that she was eating scraps alongside a colony of cats.
Emaciated, weak, and suffering from leishmania, she had clearly been abandoned once her illness made her “inconvenient.”
But despite the pain and neglect she endured, Bianca never gave up. She quietly accepted her rescue, knowing on some deep level that things were about to change.
Thanks to an incredible foster family, Bianca has transformed. With love, vet care, and proper medication, she has overcome her leishmania — now fully recovered and thriving.
She just needs a simple tablet twice a day to keep the condition in check. It’s manageable, doesn’t increase insurance premiums or affect her quality of life, and is absolutely worth it for a dog who gives love as fiercely as Bianca does.
For the past1 year, Bianca has been living in a foster home and learning how to be a dog again. She’s fully house trained, understands basic commands, and walks well on the leash.
She’s food motivated, making her very trainable — and she’s totally obsessed with squeaky balls. Her ideal day? A long sniffy walk, a fun play session, and cuddles with her favourite humans.
Bianca is incredibly affectionate and loyal to her circle, though she can take a little time to warm up to strangers. Once you’re in her heart though, you’re there for life.
She’s not keen on other animals and must be the only pet in the home. That said, she’s all the dog you’ll ever need — her love runs deep.
Her perfect match would be someone who loves big, bold personalities with even bigger hearts. An active home is ideal, with people who appreciate her breed’s intelligence and energy.
While experience with dogs — especially Huskies — is helpful, it’s not a strict requirement. What matters most is a loving, understanding home that’s ready to give this beautiful girl the second chance she’s waited so long for.
Bianca can be adopted in Cyprus or the UK. She has been tested for other infectious diseases, is spayed, will travel with a passport, be vaccinated, including rabies, and receive regular flea and worm treatments.
