Sophie is full American Cocker Spaniel, age 10 this October.
From her caregiver: Sophie is a beautiful curly haired girl who is deaf and looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her and always keep her safe. Sophie is a very sweet senior girl that gets along with other dogs but isn’t social. She’s spayed and up to date on rabies vaccines. She needs a secure home with a fenced yard. She walks well on a leash.
Sophie lost her hearing over time but not her bark! She will let you know when it’s time to get up, have snacks, go out and eat meals. She’s highly food motivated. She learns quickly and understands what’s going on around her. If you have other dogs, she will follow the pack and learn from them. I just spent time in the hospital and realized at my age I need to get her in a home where her needs will be met.
