Meet adoptable deaf 2 year old bully mix Martin who is currently looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, become his new best friend and always keep him safe.
From his shelter advocate: Martin is a young guy—probably around 2 years old—with a heart as big as his goofy smile. This handsome, all-white boy with his adorable spotted ears weighs about 55 pounds and is getting ready for his fresh start. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
There’s one thing that makes Martin a little different: he’s deaf.
Being deaf doesn’t stop him from loving people or enjoying life—it just means he’ll need someone willing to communicate with him in a different way. Martin is looking for a patient adopter or foster who will teach him the basics using hand signals and positive reinforcement. Since he was found as a stray, it doesn’t appear anyone ever took the time to show him those skills.
The good news? Martin is incredibly sweet, eager to connect, and has all the makings of a wonderful companion. He’s a lovable, goofy young dog who deserves someone willing to invest a little time so he can become the amazing dog we know he’s capable of being.
