Spring seems to have finally sprung around here and we have beautiful, bright flowering bushes and trees everywhere. It is a shame they don’t last all summer but there must be a reason.
These are one of my favorites, they are so dainty and pretty. We have had heavy wind and it looks like a snowstorm as the little white petals blow off the trees and land on the ground.
Mom’s favorite thing to smell are the lilacs. Now they are really coming into bloom and even a human can smell them from a distance. There are several colors of them but Mom prefers the light purple/lavender ones.
Since our family loves bright bold colors, these flowering trees are beautiful in our eyes. They are hot pink at its best! Do you think that they almost look Hawaiian?
There are also the darker purple flowers blooming but they don’t seem to have much smell to them.
Of course, some like the plain white flowers which we find a bit boring but wanted to share them anyway. They look like they have little pins sticking into the leaves.
Last but not least, Nelson and I found a playground created just for us…yes, it is purple and green. We decided we had to have a photo together on this perfect piece of play equipment. Hope you can get out and about to enjoy some colorful flowers or fun playgrounds in your neck of the woods.
I’m joining my friends at Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard for their Nature Friday blog hop.
