Bella is a 3-year-old deaf female Shar Pei/Bully mix who is incredibly affectionate and people-oriented, especially with children 5+ who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her and keep her safe. She thrives on companionship and loves to follow kids around, making her a great fit for a happy family environment.
She gets along well with other dogs and has also been around cats, chickens, goats, horses, and other animals without issue. Bella is social, adaptable, and enjoys being part of daily activity.
Since being in foster care, she has been working on structure and routine. She does best in a secure environment where she has clear boundaries and consistency. Continued training with visual cues and reinforcement will help her succeed long-term.
Bella is playful, loving, and eager to bond with her people. With the right home and continued guidance, she has the potential to be an exceptional companion.
Bella is deaf, but she’s very smart and does well with visual cues and consistency. She would likely do best in a home with children—she absolutely adores them and will happily follow kids around just to be part of the fun. She does have one important trait to be aware of—Bella is an escape artist. If she wants out, she will find a way, and she can squeeze through incredibly small spaces, so she will need a very secure yard and a watchful home. At her core, Bella is one of the kindest, sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. She can be a little scared and unsure at first, but once she trusts you, she becomes incredibly loving and loyal.
