Meet Luna, a 5-year-old female Border Collie who was adopted in the UK but was later returned due to anxiety and reactivity issues.
After spending time in rehabilitation, she now thrives at Sakima’s Sanctuary in Blackpool, where she has made remarkable progress.
Smart, healthy, and eager to learn, Luna loves agility, obedience training, and long walks.
She needs a calm, understanding adopter who can respect her space, manage her reactivity, and continue her training.
Though affectionate on her terms, she’s not a cuddle bug and prefers gentle, minimal attention.
Luna has made great strides with other dogs and now enjoys quiet walks and car rides with her trusted people.
Her ideal home is a quiet, adult-only environment, ideally as an only dog, with adopters who enjoy rural walks and mental exercises.
Luna is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready for her forever home.
