We are spending four days at the Georgia National Fairgrounds at the Peach Blossom Cluster. It is a huge dog show with all kinds of sports and things going on as well. The weather has been perfect so far, sunny and not too warm.
Besides the show ring, there is barn hunt, dock diving, CAT, FastCAT, rally, and agility. It is a big place and day one was very confusing. Now we know the lay of the fairgrounds and can get around easily. Mom is here to do a seminar on nose work for our breed. We entered some sports as long as we are here. There will be posts on those next week.
Barn hunt was in a big barn building. This was part of it but no runs in this area.
We found this statue outside the main show hall. It is called the Mule and Tenant Farmer.
Above is the plaque with the meaning of the statue.
You know I am the snack monster, so finding these food places really got the drool going! This one was closed but ones closer to where the events are held were open.
They have this pretty pond with a fountain too. Behind us on the other side of the pond is the field where FastCAT and CAT are being run. We are super busy and getting a lot of walking in too. Soon we will be back home but this place has sure been fun for a few days.
I’m joining my friends at Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard for their Nature Friday blog hop.
