Meet adoptable deaf 1.5 year old Aussiedoodle Big Guy who is looking for a very special home where he will be cherished, live inside with his new people and be an only pet.
From his caregiver: Big Guy aka BG is a 1 1/2 year old Aussiedoodle. He is a result of an accidental double merel. He is partially blind and totaly deaf. He can see shadows in the light places, he doesn’t see very well in the dark places. He needs a seeing eye person to help him be a more confident adult dog. He currently lives with several other dogs and has trouble with that. He doesn’t know how to play the right way. He starts off playing fine and then he becomes a little aggressive with the other dogs. BG would be a good fit in a single pet household. He would be a perfect fit for someoe that is active and could take him with them to parks for runs. ( he would have to learn how to walk on a leash). He is very loving and requires daily sometimes multiple times a day love sessions and scratches. He does require grooming every 6 to 8 weeks so you will want to have the financial resources to keep his grooming up. Grooming can run $80 to $140 per session (so you can plan on spending anywhere from $640 to $1200 per year on grooming. He would make someone the best dog.
Big Guy’s adoption fee is $350.00 (he is fully vetted) to a screened and approved home only and you must live within 180 miles of Lake City Florida to be considered for his adoption.
