Jara is a 1-year-old female Griffon. Born on 18/09/2024, she is currently in the North of Spain and searching for her forever home. She weighs 19.9kg and measures 61cm high, 93cm long, with a 63cm chest and a 33cm neck.
She is described as a beautiful girl with a lovely character. Like many in similar situations, she was not considered suitable for hunting. Despite that, she has shown herself to be balanced and loving in nature.
Jara is very good with other dogs and enjoys their company. She can be a little shy with people at first, needing a bit of time to build trust. Once she feels secure, however, she becomes super affectionate and clearly enjoys human companionship.
She is a super obedient dog and loves running and playing outside. Whether she is enjoying time alone or interacting with other dogs, she thrives in an outdoor environment. Her playful side shines when she has space to move and explore.
As a scenthound, she has had some hunting training. Because of this, her recall might be non-existent, and this will need to be carefully managed in her new home. A secure area and continued training will be important for her safety.
Jara can live with other dogs and older children, although her compatibility with cats is currently unknown. Full rescue back-up is provided, offering ongoing support to her adopters.
