Pipo is a 6-year-old male Andalusian Bodeguero (Sherry Terrier). He is a small dog currently living in Spain and is available for adoption in the UK or Europe.
Despite experiencing a difficult past, Pipo has remained a gentle and well-balanced dog who is now looking for a loving forever home.
Pipo originally came from a backyard breeding situation where dogs were bred for profit with little regard for their welfare.
When his owner returned to Venezuela, he was left with a family member who eventually sought help from a rescue organisation. At the time, Pipo was in poor condition and was suffering from a severe flea infestation.
Although he has spent most of his life as an only dog, Pipo is currently living in a foster home with other dogs and gets along well with them.
He is sociable, friendly, and suitable to live with resident dogs. He is also good with children and is accustomed to the normal routines of home life.
Pipo is described as calm, balanced, and less energetic than many of the dogs cared for by the rescue. He is house trained and comfortable with the everyday comings and goings of a family home.

He is smaller than a typical Andalusian Bodeguero, weighing around 7kg. Pipo also has a missing intervertebral disc between the C5 and C6 vertebrae, which veterinarians believe is genetic.
At present, he lives a normal life and surgery is not recommended, although pain relief may be required if he experiences discomfort.
Pipo is looking for a family that can appreciate his kind nature and provide him with the care and security he deserves. After everything he has been through, he is ready to enjoy a stable and loving future as a valued member of the family.
