Xara is a 3-year-old female Brittany. She is a medium-sized dog currently living in Spain and is searching for a forever home in the UK or Europe. Like several other Brittanys rescued alongside her, Xara is hoping for a fresh start with a loving family.
Xara was one of 33 Brittanys that were kept together on a piece of land and used for hunting and showing. When the land was being sold, rescue organisations acted quickly to save as many of the dogs as possible.
Seventeen of the dogs were rescued, with Xara, Xira, and Nuca all finding safety at the same shelter.
She is described as a very pretty and inquisitive Brittany who would love a home that enjoys adventures and outdoor activities. Xara is affectionate and playful, and she enjoys spending time with people.
She would suit an active household that can provide her with plenty of stimulation and companionship.
Xara gets on well with other dogs and is suitable to live with resident dogs. She could also live happily as the only dog in the home, provided her people are around for most of the time. She is good with children and can live with a young family.
She has not been cat tested, although this can be arranged for the right home. Xara is looking for a caring family that will give her the love, attention, and opportunities she deserves.
She is ready to leave her past behind and enjoy life as a cherished family companion.
