Meet adoptable deaf Australian Shepherd/husky mix Tyler who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who is familiar with herding breeds who can love him, teach him new sign cues, provide a structured routine for him and always keep him safe.
From his shelter advocate: Tyler is loving, smart, happy, playful and super treat motivated. He knows basic sign commands for sit and stay and walks well on leash. He can stand on his back legs and ask for treats. We get his attention by tapping him on the head, stomping on the ground or bending down to his face. He would do well with a vibrate collar to help him understand and know when attention is needed. And he will benefit from slow introductions and learning cues from his dog siblings.
