The Ruff and Puff Dog Daycare School Bus Takes Clients to a Private Dog Park
By Elise Phillips Margulis
Its social media audience loves seeing the cuties’ antics on the bus and in the park.
Denzel Morrison, owner of Ruff and Puff, is a professional dog trainer. He shared his inspiration for opening a dog daycare operation, “I grew up with dogs, so I knew I wanted to do something with them, and doggy daycare seemed like the perfect idea.” He saw a video of a dog walker with a yellow van that people nicknamed “the doggy school bus” and decided to purchase a real school bus to bring pooches to a dog park while their parents are at work.
Ruff and Puff has its own private, fenced-in dog park. Denzel described the pup playground, “It’s eight acres divided into three sections. I’m developing a natural dog pool (filtered by plants and natural filters), which should be ready by summer.” Labradors, rejoice!
In addition to providing tail-wagging fun for the pups, Ruff and Puff shares videos and pictures on social media so their followers can enjoy the happy vibes vicariously. Some of the content includes the ”Doggie Love Bus” with red tinsel Valentine’s Day decorations and the canines sporting red heart ears, dogs wearing birthday cake hats, eating homemade pooch pretzels, birthday cookies, and treats on charcuterie boards. They are also dressed in Halloween costumes and licking pup cups. One dog is shown refusing to board the bus when it’s time to go home, and another dog departs the bus at home, but turns around to get back on because he doesn’t want the fun to end.
