Meet Raider adoptable deaf one year old Great Dane Raider who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, make daily positive reinforcement sign training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep him safe. Raider is 140 pounds of pure joy and love!

Located in Hartland, MI, Raider is a 1-year-old deaf Great Dane looking for his forever home! At over 140 lbs, he’s a gentle giant who has been fostered with kids, dogs, and cats.
Raider is fully vetted and ready for adoption. Because he’s deaf, he’ll need a home with:
• A securely fenced yard
• Another friendly, playful dog to help him navigate the world
• Deaf dog experience (preferred)
• XL breed experience (preferred)
Raider’s adoption fee is $350.00 to a screened and approved family.

The Adoption Process
1. Fill Out an Application
Submit your adoption application online to get started.
2. Application Review
Our team will review your application to determine if we’d like to move forward.
3. Phone Interview
If your application is selected for the next step, an adoption counselor will contact you via text message to schedule a 15–30 minute phone interview to discuss your application in more detail.
4. Home Check
If we continue with your application, your counselor will provide instructions to schedule or complete a home check.
5. Meet & Adopt!
Our adult dogs love meeting their potential families—including your current dogs and all members of the household! These are private, scheduled meetings with the adopters and the dog! If the meeting goes well, the dog will be ready to head home with their new family!
Our adult cats are also scheduled for adoption meetings- These are private, scheduled meetings with the adopters and the cat! If the meeting goes well, the cat will be ready to head home with their new family (make sure to bring a carrier with you for safe transport home)!
