Photo Practice for Henry By Minnehaha Creek

My GBGV Life Photo Practice for Henry By Minnehaha CreekHenry got some photo practice on the way to Gramma’s last weekend. Mom took us for a short walk along Minnehaha Creek to tire out Henry and also work with him on photos when we take walks. I was tired of waiting for the little fellow to stay sitting, so I gave up looking at Mom.

My GBGV Life Henry by the creekIt turned out to be somewhat useful in teaching him but there were at least a million people walking dogs and some dogs were very scary and frightening for Henry and me! Nevertheless, Henry did get a shot of himself right next to the creek. this was right after a big dog lunged and barked as it passed by but Henry did well.

My GBGV Life sit on an tree stumpWe found a stump about three feet tall. Mom set him on it for a photo. She is very careful to make sure he doesn’t jump. He looked at the situation and decided for himself not to jump and sit would be a better option.

My GBGV Life Photo Practice for Henry By Minnehaha CreekOur favorite photos were when Mom put Henry in this huge tree. It was all hollowed out and there was plenty of space for Henry to sit in. He even stood up to check what was going on behind him. I think he actually liked it up there!

My GBGV Life Henry in a treeHere is another one if him just sitting in the spot that is hollowed out. He looks good in a tree, I must say!

My GBGV Life Photo Practice for Henry By Minnehaha CreekIt was really crowded with all the dogs and people, and there was too much going on to get Henry to sit with me along the creek. Mom decided to take a photo of me by myself. It was a fun little walk and I think Henry is starting to learn more about sitting for photos. Happy Friday!

I’m joining my friends at Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard for their Nature Friday blog hop.
