Meet adoptable deaf three year old Aspen who is looking for a loving forever home in the Gainesville FL where he will live with a loving forever home with a secure fenced in yard.
From his current caregiver: Aspen is 3 years old. He is very very energetic and food oriented. He does not like other dogs or cats. And is not a huge fan of children. He was in a rescue for 2.5 years so he is still learning how to dog properly. We are teaching him how to play fetch and tug of war. Aspen has learned some simple commands like sit, come, and go to bed. He knows lay down but is very hesitant to follow this sign cue. He is not the best at walking on a leash but will improve with practice. He tends to pull a lot. Aspen needs a house with a secured fenced in yard where he can romp, play, and stay safe. With his energy level he needs to be able to run for hours. We are currently living in a apartment and he deserves so much more. He’s very goofy and he loves cuddling on the couch and lounging in the kitchen while you’re cooking hoping for scraps.
His adoption fee is $200 to a screened and approved home only and you must live within a 2 hour drive of Gainesville, Florida to be considered for adoption.
