A Healthy Curly Furred GBGV Girl

A Healthy Curly Furred GBGV GirlI’m happy to tell you all that I am a healthy curly furred GBGV girl. Mom changed from taking us all together to taking us one a month for our vet visits. It is easier to do and we are easier to handle in the exam room she says. Bailie was March, Nelson in April, and pulling up the rear, me in May.

My GBGV Life A Healthy Curly Furred GBGV GirlWe all go to the same clinic and vet. Nelson loves going there, he is seriously nuts! Bailie and I are scared but we know we have to go. The Inver Grove Animal Hospital is a good clinic and they have a deal on all the tests for $99. We all took full advantage of that as vet visits are not cheap.

My GBGV Life the windowWhile waiting I watched for critters in the woods but didn’t see any. When my doctor came in I jumped on the bench with my mom and cuddled up tight. No way was the doc going to poke and prod me. Well, she dug out a tin of liver treats and won me over. The vet tech also had a tin of the treats so I really had no choice but to let them examine me. She checked me from top to bottom and end to end. They were both impressed by how fit I am. My chompers have a touch of tartar but nothing like a normal seven year old. Still a one on the dental scale.

My GBGV Life nervous girlI guess I left a very healthy impression with my doctor and tech which is nice. All my test results came back after a few days and everything is perfect. Paws crossed I stay a healthy girl for many years to come. Now I can relax for a year until my next exam, phew!
