Please meet Delightful Dexter!
Dexter, a 9 year old , is an absolutely adorable border collie boy. He is a lovely older gent that just wants some humans to share his retirement with him.
Dexter sadly came to us as part of a welfare case.
Dexter is a wonderful dog, and I absolutely adore him! He is just a happy go lucky kind of guy, very laid-back, just wants to please. His favourite thing is a gentle stroll, and then a snuggle on the sofa; he adores his humans!
Dexter will make a very rewarding addition to his new family. He is absolutely adorable. He is an older boy but still loves a trot around in the fields, but will also happily have a steady lead walk.
He is an amazing companion dog and will be a best friend to anyone who is lucky enough to adopt him; he gives the best cuddles!
Dexter is house trained, walks well on the lead is not destructive and can be left for short periods. ?
He is a perfect family pet however, due to his older years we feel he would prefer a home with teenage children – he would love a friend to play and snuggle with him. Dexter is currently on a diet as he is quite plump!
Dexter is a very social lad so could live with other dogs or would be equally happy as the only dog with lots of human company.
Personally, I think he would love a home as the only dog so he gets all the attention, but he is currently living with other dogs without issues, as long as he gets his slot on the sofa!!
Dexter is very responsive, and well trained. He loves his home comforts and a cuddle. Dexter travels very well in the car, whoever adopts this lovely lad will be very lucky indeed as he really has the most amazing well-adjusted nature and such a beautiful face.
Dexter is neutered, microchipped, de flea and wormed and vaccinated.
