3 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross available for adoption

Nala is a 3 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross, who came into our care when her owner – local to us – was very tragically found dead in his flat.

There were two dogs there – Bear, who we rehomed a while back, and young Nala, whose mum was a typically loving Staffordshire Bull Terrier and her dad a Ridgeback x.

We’ve had quite a bit of interest in Nala but sadly nothing has quite worked out. Always very near misses though as there is much to love about Nala: she’s not huge energy; is a real love-bug, obedient and well-trained.

She loves the car. She is well socialised and is calm and comfortable walking in busy places – with just the occasional bark/minor reaction if another dog is in her face.

Shouty, unpredictable young children can also spook her (there’s no aggression; she just finds them a bit scary which is why we’ve specified no children in her new home).

We think she would do best either as an only dog or with a nice confident older male dog in a quiet, adult home with some bull-breed experience and without tons of visitors. (She’s very friendly/loving but can find a lot of comings and goings stressful).

She is fine to be left for a 2/3 hours once settled.

Nala has now been in a fabulous foster for some weeks and foster mum Amanda has nothing but praise for her – describing her as a very easy dog once she is settled.

Nala will be three in November. She is spayed, chipped, fully-vaccinated and treated for parasites. She weighs 30kg.

Nala is currently in Wittering nr Peterborough but can travel for the right home.
