Guess who is three months old today? Why it is me, Talus Sidekick Game On better known to everyone as Henry! Today I am twelve weeks old which is three months. I also happen to love all the squeaky toys we have at my house. If I am awake and not eating, I am squeaking something!
I’m the blue guy in the family. Everyone has a color and I am blue. Mom knows of a playground with blue equipment which is where we went for my photo shoot.
Another reason why we went to a playground is because of how Mom ended up choosing me from all eleven of us pups. She watched the videos my breeder posted and seemed to always notice me. I’m easy to spot as I have pretty solid white back. She found me to always be into things and the last clue I was right for her was when she saw me trying to climb up a slide. I am determined and I don’t let much stop me. Mom thinks I will do well in sports with this attitude.
Here where I am walking around on the wood chips my white back is more evident. Funny thing is, Nelson also has a fairly white back but he does have faint freckles on his back.
What have I learned since meeting my new family fifteen days ago? I’m starting to grasp this photo thing. Mom wants me to stay put while she takes photos. It is hard to stay still but I’m trying and improving daily on that score.
The past few days I’ve started to use my nose a lot more. Mom takes me tracking, very short baby tracks, and I am beginning to understand what I need to do. She is also working on nose work with me and that is coming along as well.
Now she says I need to learn some things like sit, down, and stay. I guess life is about learning. Hopefully my siblings will help me understand how all this stuff works as it is a lot for a young fellow. Overall, I’m a really happy camper in a home where I am loved so much. Not every pup in the world is so lucky. Oh yes, and as you can see, I have also been framed. Time to move on towards four months old!
