Put your paws together to welcome Talus Sidekick Game On, aka Henry. We have been a bit MIA this week as we went to Alabama to pick the little guy up and bring him home. It’s about eighteen hours each way plus stops so we didn’t have time for much else besides driving. If you saw our posts yesterday, they were clues as to what we would be posting today.
Henry was born on June 9th, one of eleven puppies, four girls and seven boys. He was the last one born, number eleven and the first one to leave home. The photo is some of his siblings and their dog nanny, uncle Kevin.
Mom got to meet Henry first. He is a very smart and sweet little man. We watched some videos as he grew and tried to pick the one we think will be a really good sports dog.
After Mom got acquainted with Henry, it was our turn to sniff him up a bit.
This is a cute photo of him looking up at us from the puppy area. We brought our navigator along who also doubles as a photographer for us sometimes. She snapped some good shots as Mom was too busy to take photos.
It is crazy but we have a lot of toys and Henry went for the old Furballz first thing. He is daydreaming about his new life I think!
Nelson’s lamby is also a toy he seems to like since it squeaks. We are pretty certain Henry will have a very light colored face and his black back spots will fade as well. It will be fun to see him a year from now.
Outside he enjoys chasing and then chewing on leaves. How silly is that?
Too bad Mom isn’t happy with our new brother, yeah, right! He figured out she is his new mom right away and he follows her around constantly. We are excited to get to know him and to watch him grow up. Welcome to our family Henry!
