We are thankful for our beautiful spring evenings that we are having right now. It is cool and the light is so pretty, ideal for some serious sniffing work with some fun on the side.
While looking for rabbits since we know they come into our yard, I try to blend in by looking like a rabbit. What do you think, do I pass with my ears up, rabbit style?
Once and a while when Mom calls me I actually come. Usually I’m busy and I just ignore her.
Nelson follows the advice from that Christmas song to put one foot/paw in front of the other and soon he will be walking out the door…but not really, we don’t want him to leave and he doesn’t want to leave home. Snacks and food are too important to him.
After completely searching the yard for critters, we decided to do a bit of racing including some bitey face.
Nelson challenges me to a race. He forgets I’m long and lean and a running machine. He is built more like a concrete block, sturdy, not as fast.
As expected, my nose is out front and I will win in the speed game. These spring evenings are super fun and we are all enjoying them.
