Meet adoptable deaf Catahoula/Aussie mix puppy Cherub who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, make daily positive reinforcement sign training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep her safe.

Cherub- GA – Deaf Dogs Rock

From her rescue advocate: Cherub’s rescue story began when we rescued a Merle mama dog and her puppies from a hoarding situation in Alabama. We fostered the mom and pups for the first 8 weeks. At about 6 weeks old it became apparent that 3 of the puppies are deaf, leading us to believe it was likely a “double Merle” breeding. Mom looks like a catahoula mix (55 lbs) and we were told dad is an Aussie. It is possible for double Merle dogs to have someone visual impairments, too. Cherub is a happy-go-lucky girl who is very well-adjusted and adaptable.

She has been in foster since 4 days old, so she is well socialized. She is currently 14 weeks old, is current on vaccines (needs one more booster), has been spayed, and microchipped. She is working on crate training, house training, and basic commands!
