Meet Sky, a young 1 year old Griffon Niverna girl with the gentlest soul who is still learning that the world can be kind.
Sky came into our care in Galicia, northern Spain, along with her two siblings after a hunter no longer wanted them and threatened to kill them if no one stepped in.
Thankfully they were saved in time — but Sky is now the only one still waiting for her forever home.
She is around 1.5 years old and a Griffon Nivernais type. Sky is currently underweight at approximately 17kg (she should be closer to 20kg), and we are working on building her strength, confidence, and trust in humans again.
Despite everything she has been through, Sky is incredibly gentle. She is good with other dogs and children, and with time, patience, and kindness, she will truly blossom into a loyal and loving companion.
Sky would benefit from a calm, understanding home where she can continue to gain confidence at her own pace and finally feel safe. Must have a secure garden.
She is fully prepared for travel — vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and spayed — and can travel to the U.K. or across Europe to the right home.
If you can offer Sky the second chance she so desperately deserves, she will reward you with quiet loyalty and love.
As with all of our dogs, she comes with full rescue back-up.
