Mia is a stunningly beautiful mixed breed girl, with some Belgian Malinois mixed in her together with Podenco. Her body posture makes you stare, how she stands so straight, with her elegantly long legs, straight back, long majestic tail.
Her coat colours and marking are exceptional and quite rare, and as expected, from her breed and age, she is energetic, loves to run, and is very curious about what is happening around her. We think she would make a good candidate for agility!
Mia is only young at 18 months, and she was abandoned with her friend because the family said they were allergic, and they gave the rescue 1 days notice to take them so the girls were quite stressed on first arrival.
Mia is a very sweet girl, and walks very well on her lead and we think that she is suitable for a family with older children with, or without another friendly dog.
Mia is so sweet because she also looks out for her friend Noa, for example when we’re putting a harness on Noa, she comes to check that we are being nice with her, and that everything is fine.
Its early to assess what best motivates her ie toy- or training motivated, food, or whether she is very human-oriented, and we are just working with both of the two sweet girls. They are available for separate adoptions, even though they are coming from the same home and are friends, they both seem to be balanced and confident enough to join a family with another friendly dog, or perhaps also as a single dog. 
She is not tested for cats 

Her Best Points :Great with people and dogs. gentle nature, and is obedient, happy to play and a pretty girl

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.

All dogs are microchipped                                           

For Dogs coming from Spain this adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering (if old enough), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.

We can not home dogs from Spain  to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog:

All new owners will need to change their new dogs microchip information to their contact details. This costs £17. If you would like us to arrange this for you, at a reduced rate of £7.20, we will ask you to do a bank transfer to allow us to register the change.

Homecheck:

All our adoptions are subject to successful homechecks.

The adoption fee is £250.00 for transport plus an adoption fee of £250.00 depending on the breed and age of the cat.  The fee is paid via bank transfer to the UK or Paypal and covers the cost of passport, microchip, vaccines and neutering (if over 6 months) also transport costs/taxes from Spain to the UK.   There is now a deposit for all homechecks of £25 which is deducted from the adoption fee.

If the homecheck fails the £25 will be reimbursed.

If application is withdraw after the homecheck this is non refundable.

All homechecks are now conducted virtually and will be undertaken via video call (using skype, zoom or equivalent).

We will need to meet ALL members of the family living at the address, including children.

Proof of ID and landlord permission is required

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas:
