Meet Dukey, a 7-8 year old male dog of unknown breed who is currently in foster kennels in Romania.
Dukey is in foster kennels in Romania. He was saved from Lancram kill shelter in August 2021, coming up to five years ago. This is so sad.
He is not one of Just Kind Dog Rescue’s dogs, but I was involved in taking him out of Lancram and now, with your help, I am trying to find him a home.
Dukey is 7 to 8 years old and 50 cm tall. It has taken time, but this boy now allows contact; he just needs to be approached slowly, with no quick moves. He is friendly and not aggressive in any way, he just needs time to build up his trust. He is a timid, gentle boy.
Good with other dogs.
Not cat tested but can be.
He has been on a lead but definitely needs training with this. So far, when tried, he does not like it.
