Orion is a handsome 6 month old, male, German Shepherd cross, ready for his forever home.
Orion and his brother Atlas were found as very young puppies by a lovely lady that kept them for a month at home with her 11 dogs until we had space to take them under our care. They were wonderful in the home and learnt some daily routines.
He is already 18 kilos and we expect this handsome dude to be around 30 kilos once full grown, he has the markings and colours that making him even more striking.
Orion is the more confident of the two brothers. He’s friendly and affectionate and does a lovely sit.
He plays well with not just his brother but other dogs at the Sanctuary, simply loves to run and when called he will come straight back for cuddles and a stroke.
Both boys love charging around in the yard together playing chase. They will run for toys as well but haven’t quite figured out fetching.
They are very clever, curious puppies. Neither of them have excessive energy levels, they’re not over the top. I was able to sit on the floor with them which is something you can’t always do with puppies of that age without being trampled.
Orion will be happy as an only dog, as long as he is constantly socialised for playtime, or he can live with another playful dog that enjoys rough and tumble, he is the more dominant of the two (not aggressively but during play time)
Safe and secured garden, children over 10 years old due to his size, and an active family that must also continue with his training, stimulation and experienced with GSDs and large size dogs.
Orion is fully vaccinated, blood tests including a Brucella Canis test, healthy and ready to fly on the 19th April
We will not leave them in Cyprus to grow up there, we are looking for an adoption or a foster placement.
