Meet Snickers a medium size labrador cross boy.
Snickers’ story is one of those that stays with you. He and his siblings were found in the middle of a busy highway… tiny 4-month-old puppies left to survive the unthinkable.
Sadly, not all of them made it — some were hit by cars, and one disappeared and was never found.
Four of them were rescued. Snickers was one of the lucky ones.
His siblings — Bueno, Mars, and Bounty — didn’t wait long before finding their forever homes. But Snickers is still here… still waiting.
He was always the shyest of the four, and while his journey has been slower, it has also been incredibly special to watch. Over the past 15 months, Snickers has made beautiful progress.
He now gets excited when he sees us, eagerly waiting for his lead so he can go out to the playground — his favourite place, especially when there are treats involved.
Snickers is still a sensitive boy. While he will allow touch, he doesn’t fully enjoy cuddles just yet — but that’s simply part of his journey. He is learning, growing, and gaining confidence every day.
He is great with other dogs and would benefit from a calm, understanding home that will continue to build his confidence at his own pace.
A family who sees beyond the shyness, and understands that trust takes time, will be the perfect match for him.
Snickers may not run straight into your arms… but once he lets you into his world, it will be something truly special.
After everything he has been through, he deserves his chance.
