Oshi is an 18-month-old male Belgian Shepherd Malinois. He was found wandering near a highway in Cyprus, and despite his uncertain past, he has shown signs of being accustomed to home life.
His clean kennel habits suggest he was previously house-trained, as he waits to be let out before relieving himself.
Oshi is a new arrival, so his full temperament is still being assessed. However, he has shown no signs of reactivity to other dogs. He could be rehomed as an only dog or with a resident dog, depending on the adopter’s circumstances. His calm nature and adaptability indicate that he has the potential to thrive in a loving home.
Due to his size and strength, Oshi is best suited for a household with children aged 12 years and above. He has not been tested with cats, so his compatibility with feline companions is unknown. Any potential introductions to cats would need to be done carefully and gradually.
Oshi walks well on the lead, making him an excellent companion for an active adopter who can provide him with regular exercise and mental stimulation.
As a Belgian Shepherd Malinois, he will need an owner familiar with the breed’s intelligence and energy levels to ensure he remains engaged and well-balanced.
Oshi is fully vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, and comes with a pet passport. He is ready to fly to the UK and will arrive with full rescue backup from Saving Souls Animal Rescue, ensuring support for his adopter.
