Meet adoptable hearing impaired Armani who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, make daily positive reinforcement training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep her safe.

Armani is a beautiful 1-year, 10-month-old spayed female Dogo Argentino who has been patiently waiting for her forever family for almost six months in animal control. She is hoping that her special someone is out there and that her shelter stay will soon come to an end.
Armani is current on her vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She enjoys people and does well with male dogs. She can be selective with female dogs, so slow and proper introductions would be important. Armani is not recommended for a home with cats.
One of the things that makes Armani extra special is that she is partially deaf. She can hear higher-pitched sounds, but she responds wonderfully to touch and hand signals. She has already learned to sit and lay down, showing that she is smart, capable, and eager to learn.
Because Armani has spent so much time in a shelter environment, we cannot say that she is completely house-trained. With patience, consistency, and a little time to adjust to a home, she deserves the chance to learn and thrive.
After nearly six months in a shelter, Armani desperately needs someone to give her a chance. She has so much life ahead of her and deserves a loving family who will appreciate her unique personality, be patient with her hearing impairment, and show her what it means to finally have a home of her own.

Armani’s Details: She is a 1 year, 10 months old Dogo Argentino who is spayed, current all all her routine vaccinations, she is HW neg, micro-chipped, good with other male dogs but she can be selective of female dogs. She needs a loving home with no cats. She is hearing impaired but she does respond well to touch and hand cues. She knows the hand cue signs for “sit and lay down”. Since Armani is in a kennel environment at a shelter we are not sure if she is house trained so she will need a person of family committed to positive reinforcement potty training.
