Meet adoptable deaf, seven month old Junie who is looking for a loving home with someone who will cherish her, make daily positive reinforcement sign training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep her safe.

From her caregiver: Meet Junie! She is a deaf Dalmatian with two different colored eyes and full of personality! She loves to go to the dog park and run around and she especially loves chasing after tennis balls. She enjoys crinkle and squeaky toys as well even though she can’t hear them! Junie is an aggressive chewer so she will destroy and eat parts of toys. She loves bones too! Especially ones that are filled or can be a long-term chew. She does have some training, she knows how to sit and go into her cage. She’s mostly house trained and will ask to go outside by going to the door and pacing near the door.

She will only go inside when she’s mad (example- taking something from her that she isn’t supposed to be chewing on) Junie currently lives with another dog and two cats and while she does okay with the other animals, we believe she would do best being the only animal in the home or with larger dogs who can handle her rough play. She does also have a chicken allergy and is currently on a salmon and rice based dry food.

Junie’s adoption fee is $250 to a screened and approved home only. You must live within a distance of  120 miles of Columbus, Ohio to be considered for her adoption.
