We love the Love’s Travel Stops! When we travel, Mom tries to stop at one whenever we need gas or bathrooms as they are super friendly, clean, pet friendly, and they often have food she likes to eat at a decent price too. We put together a little more information on why we love these travel stops so much.
Amazing Gas Prices
Almost all the time when we travel, Mom looks for the best prices on gas so we can fill up without spending as much money. Love’s almost always has the lowest prices. Finally we signed up for their app and now we get an additional ten cents off per gallon when we fill up. Mom doesn’t use such apps much as they constantly send texts, but Love’s doesn’t send many. The additional money off for free is well worth it! More money for dog treats, wink, wink.
Easy To Find
Love’s Travel Stops are all over the country. Sure some areas have more than others but we almost always find them on at least part of our travel routes. One can look them up in the app, or ask google for the nearest one to your current location. To get the discount once you have the app, all you have to do is enter your phone number at the pump, easy peasy!
Pet Friendly
A couple years ago, Love’s started adding Dog Parks to their travel stops. It does make them more appealing to many pet owners. We, however, never use the dog park feature. Why?
- Often times there are gaps in the fencing or around the gates where small to medium dogs could possibly slip out.
- People don’t always pick up after their dogs in there.
- We don’t want to be in a small park with dogs we don’t know.
- Depending on where the travel stop is located, there could be diseases.
- A lot of people love these parks but they are not for everyone.
Mom is happy to take us for short walks around the travel stop to do our business.
They also are starting to put in pet supplies in the store. It is nothing fancy but in an emergency, like your human forgot your treats, you could buy some here. They even have things for kitties if you are traveling with one or more.
Since we are always looking for and stopping at Love’s Travel Stops, we thought we should spread the word on our opinion of them. If you haven’t tried one, you really should, and get the app, it is well worth it! We are thankful Love’s is always growing. Happy Travels!
