Meet Ronnie, a 3-year-old French Bulldog who is ready to leave his difficult past behind and start a wonderful new chapter.
Despite coming from an unsuitable environment where he lacked proper care, Ronnie’s resilient spirit has shone through.
Since settling into his foster home, he has proven to be a delight and a complete cuddle bug who loves nothing more than head massages, belly rubs, and curling up for a long nap on your lap.
When he isn’t relaxing, Ronnie is a playful, cheerful boy who thoroughly enjoys exploring and pottering around in the garden. He is fully housetrained, travels well in the car, and knows basic commands like “sit.”
While he will give a quick bark when strangers first arrive at the house, he settles down immediately once greeted. He also demonstrates impressive self-control by waiting patiently at mealtime until he is told he can eat.
Ronnie is a compact guy with a big personality and plenty of enthusiasm and can be boisterous.
On walks, Ronnie tends to pull on the lead and can be reactive toward other dogs, so his new owners will need to feel confident continuing his focus and loose-lead training.

To help him thrive and feel completely comfortable, Ronnie must be rehomed as the only pet in the household.
Health-wise, Ronnie was treated for an eye condition when he first arrived in care, but he has made a full recovery, received a clean bill of health from the vet, and is 100% fit and ready for adoption.
Ronnie has so much love left to give and will make a wonderfully loyal, fun-loving companion for the right family.
I’d prefer not to live with cats
I’d prefer to be the only dog in a home
I can be left alone for short periods
I love toys and games
I know how to sit and other basic commands
I could live with children of secondary age
I’m always on the go
