Meet Boy Dragon who is an adoptable deaf dog looking for a loving forever home.
Boy Dragon is a 7-month-old male pup who is growing into a handsome large dog with a soft white coat, an always-wagging happy tail, and a personality that’s full of adventure. He’s playful, independent, and loves spending his days running, exploring, and playing with his canine friends.
His story began in the desert, where we cared for a group of stray dogs. One of the dogs gave birth to two puppies, and Boy Dragon was one of them. When he was old enough, he went to a wonderful foster home before finding an adopter. Later, we discovered that Boy Dragon is deaf, and he was returned from his first home through no fault of his own. Not long afterward, he and his sister found another home together, but he was eventually returned because the resident older male dog became aggressive toward him.
Since coming back to us, Boy Dragon has become a valued member of our pack. He happily plays with dogs of all sizes, from energetic puppies to large adult dogs, and is always ready for the next game or adventure. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and enjoys having room to run and satisfy his curiosity.
Like many dogs, Boy Dragon does resource guard his food and water, so his new family should be prepared to continue working with him using positive, reward-based training and thoughtful management. Aside from that, he is an absolute joy to have around and has so much love to give.
