Meet the New York Knicks Players and Their Adorable Dogs

I’m not going to lie, seeing all of NYC celebrate The Knicks’ wins has given my dog and me serious FOMO. While we can’t be out in the streets cheering for the team, we can share our appreciation for The Knicks by showcasing the biggest dog lovers on the roster.

Without further ado, here are The Knicks and their adorable canine companions.

While Josh Hart doesn’t own a canine companion, he does have a close bond with his friend’s furry friend. The New York Post reported that Hart invited his buddy’s pup, Bucky the Bernedoodle, to watch the team practice in May 2026.

It might be an understatement to say that Mitchell Robinson is a massive dog lover. The center owns 19 dogs! But don’t worry, the pups have plenty of space, as they live in two residences.

Mikal Bridges

Mikal Bridges is absolutely obsessed with his sweet pup, Sonny. In a May 2025 interview with ESPN, Bridges said that he spent the offseason with his Lab by his side, instead of traveling.

A lot of people get on me because I don’t travel that much, but there’s reasons why. First off, I hate traveling a lot, and second, I hate leaving my dog through the season,” said the 29-year-old NBA star.
