Gray is an adorable, big puppy boy Mastin Mix, with a fluffy, light cream, soft coat and impressive speckled facial markings. He is a gentle boy and loves affection and attention from the volunteers and enjoys being groomed. Recently entering the shelter, they are still assessing him therefore there isnt much information about him yet apart from he’s super friendly with people and other dogs, he likes to join in play and chase toys and balls.

Poor boy is only approximately 10/12 months old, has never been on a lead and so the training already started. Gray is doing well, a bit overwhelmed and a  bit nervous but he is gaining confidence every day. Its thought that he is a Mastine mix as he’s not overly massive, but still a big lad and is filling out nicely.

Gray loves to get out walking with the other dogs and is very sociable and loves his walks but is not cat tested yet. We really want a loving home for this fella with another friendly dog and children over 12 years.

No foster report yet.

  • Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog:
  • Homecheck:
  • For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas:
  • Adoption Fee: £
Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young, then the new owners will need to ensure this is done and proof sent to us once complete. All dogs are microchipped

All new owners will need to change their new dogs microchip information to their contact details. DogwatchUk does this on your behalf so that we know that its been done.

All our adoptions are subject to successful homechecks which are carried out via a video call. There is now a deposit for all homechecks of £25 which is deducted from the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid via bank transfer to the UK (or Paypal) and covers the cost of passport, bloods, microchip, vaccines and neutering (if over 6 months) also transport costs/taxes from Spain to the UK.
If you are adopting a UK dog then the process is still the same but there will be no bloods or passport or transport costs.
If the homecheck fails the £25 will be reimbursed.
If the application is withdraw after the homecheck this is non refundable.
Our checker will be given your details to contact you. All homechecks are now conducted virtually and will be undertaken via video call (using skype, zoom or equivalent).
We will need to meet ALL members of the family living at the address, including children.
Proof of ID and landlord permission (if applicable) is required

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.

We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.

Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.

Paid to the Spanish rescue via UK bank account
