Pablo is an adorable, big boy, with a fluffy, light cream, soft coat, and black masked face. He is a gentle boy and loves affection and attention from the volunteers and enjoys being groomed. Pablo is very sociable and loves his walks and other dogs as you can see in the video but is not yet cat tested (but he does like horses!) but they can do this if required. Out on walks he likes to saunter along close by the handlers sides. He is a gentle giant, fine with children, this poor boy was already abandoned once before as a puppy near the Granada dog pound.

Pablo has a good nature and would equally be suited as an only dog or with other dogs. We think he would thrive in a loving home, with some much deserved TLC and a garden to plod around in. A definitely brilliant all rounder, super social with everyone, so we really want a loving home for this fella because he has been abandoned twice now at such a young age and so he deserves a place of his own now and with some initial time to settle he will make a loyal, loving family pet. We think children over 12 would fit with Pablo well

  • Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog:
  • Homecheck:
  • For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas:
  • Adoption Fee: £
Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young, then the new owners will need to ensure this is done and proof sent to us once complete. All dogs are microchipped

All new owners will need to change their new dogs microchip information to their contact details. DogwatchUk does this on your behalf so that we know that its been done.

All our adoptions are subject to successful homechecks which are carried out via a video call. There is now a deposit for all homechecks of £25 which is deducted from the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid via bank transfer to the UK (or Paypal) and covers the cost of passport, bloods, microchip, vaccines and neutering (if over 6 months) also transport costs/taxes from Spain to the UK.
If you are adopting a UK dog then the process is still the same but there will be no bloods or passport or transport costs.
If the homecheck fails the £25 will be reimbursed.
If the application is withdraw after the homecheck this is non refundable.
Our checker will be given your details to contact you. All homechecks are now conducted virtually and will be undertaken via video call (using skype, zoom or equivalent).
We will need to meet ALL members of the family living at the address, including children.
Proof of ID and landlord permission (if applicable) is required

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
– microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.

We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.

Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.

Paid to the Spanish rescue via UK bank account
