Zeppelin is an amazing boy who came to us an owner who was losing their home. He is looking for a safe and loving home with someone who will become his very best friend and always keep him safe. His previous owner never realized he was deaf, therefore he has not been taught any sign cues. He is a sweet and very handsome five year old deaf boxer who deserves to go to a wonderful and loving home.
Sweet deaf boxer Zeppelin is currently in our rescue kennel facility in North Alabama and has been posted for a foster many times, but no one has come forward for him. He’s a good boy, and we would really like to see him be in a home instead of a kennel with 7 other dogs. He has been with us over two months.
Zeppelin would do best in a home with larger dogs or no other dogs. He does not do well with small dogs or cats. He should do okay with older children who can respect his deafness.
He is 5 years old and weighs about 65-70 pounds. He is such a handsome dog!
He is really not in his best environment, and we are doing all we can to get him out and into a home where he can relax and be part of the family. We would love to see him in a home that has experience with deaf dogs who can teach him some sign and have him be part of their everyday routine.
