My name is Truett! I am a 2 year old border collie mix! I am vision and hearing impaired, so I am seeking a special home that will support me! I am the sweetest, cuddliest boy with people and love pets. I’m a sensitive guy, but with love and patience I will come out of my shell quickly and show you my silly side. I am learning to walk on a leash, but I am okay with being picked up like a baby if I get confused and we need to move on! I am good with other dogs, so if you have a current pup in the home and are looking for a friend for them, I may be your guy.

Recently he has been going potty outside only at the shelter so we think he is getting the hang of house training!

Placing an animal on adoption hold:
In order to place a dog or cat on an adoption hold, you must meet with the animal prior to the hold. Adoption holds are good for 24 hours, no exceptions.
$50 hold fee for dogs
The adoption hold fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Your hold fee is applied to the adoption fee when the adoption is finalized. Adoption holds are available for animals at our shelter or in foster care, this does not include animals that attend adoption events. All adoptable animals that attend adoption events are first come first serve.

Adoption Fees for Dogs:
Puppies (7 months and under) $450-$600*
Small Breed Adult Dogs $400
Young Adult Dogs (8-12 months) $350*
Adult Dogs (1-7 years): $325*
Senior Dogs (7+ years): $250*
*Higher demand dogs (including small breed dogs under 25 lbs) or puppies may have a higher adoption fee. Dogs appearing to be purebred and other popular breed mixes can have adoption fees between $400-$800. The fees listed above help offset the costs of canines who may have higher medical or other special needs. On average, we invest over $500 of care into every dog or puppy during their time with us.
