Junior is a 3-year-old male Dachshund Cross. He was rescued from a deprived area of Hungary in very poor condition and has since been given a second chance at life. Despite everything he has been through, he has remained a sweet and affectionate little dog.
He has been waiting patiently while other dogs around him have found homes, yet he has somehow been overlooked. This is especially sad because he is described as a lovable and funny boy who truly enjoys human company.
More than anything, he is simply longing to be part of a family of his own.
Junior walks nicely on the lead and enjoys getting out and about. He loves people and shows a gentle and friendly nature in his interactions. His kind temperament also means he is patient when around children.
When it comes to other dogs, Junior’s preference is for female dogs. He would be happiest living with a spayed female companion or as the only dog in the home where he can soak up all the attention.
This flexibility means he could suit different home setups, as long as his social preferences are respected.
He comes neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, which gives his future family reassurance about his health care. He also has an EU pet passport, making his travel arrangements clear and straightforward.
A home check and adoption fee will apply, and full rescue back-up is provided for added support.
Junior is a small dog at approximately 10 kg, making him a manageable size for many households. His journey has not been easy, but his gentle nature and cheerful personality have stayed intact.
He is ready to leave his difficult past behind and finally enjoy the comfort and security of a loving home.
