Meet adoptable deaf six year old Dandelion who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, become her new best friend and always keep her safe.

From her shelter advocate: Meet sweet deaf dog Dandelion! Dandelion came to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter as a stray; dirty and confused. Dandelion may be deaf, but she’s full of love and joy. She communicates in her own sweet ways—through bright eyes, wagging tails, and a gentle, affectionate nature. She’s curious, eager to learn, and already picking up new skills with patience and positive guidance. She loves being close to her people and sharing calm, cozy moments. Dandelion is resilient and ready to blossom in a home that will support her as she continues to grow.

She does experience some separation anxiety, but she’s making great progress with a treatment plan already in place. With consistency, routine, and patience, she’s learning that being alone is safe. Her future family will play an important role in continuing this progress, and support will be provided to help you succeed.

In return, Dandelion offers deep loyalty, affection, and a loving bond. She has loved everyone she’s met (adults and kids alike) and enjoys being around other dogs too. With time and care, her playful, happy personality will truly shine. She’s looking for a patient, understanding home ready to embrace her differences and help build her confidence!
