Louie is a 10 month old male Labradoodle Cross and, bless him, he has already experienced a lot of upheaval in his short life.
As such, he is an anxious lad and we are looking for a compassionate home with a patient owner who will help him to feel safe and happy.
In the home and with those he trusts, Louie is amazingly loyal, loving and affectionate. He loves cuddles and devotes himself quickly to the people he knows he is safe with.
He is super quick and eager to learn, and he will thrive with structured, reward-based training. Although he enjoys outdoor adventures, Louie needs some help with learning how to walk nicely on a lead.
With time, patience and consistency, we are confident that he will soon learn the ropes. We have already seen great progress in this area since he has been in foster care.
Louie can be nervous of people and situations he does not know, so he will need gentle introductions to visitors, the vets and other dogs.
We will provide his family with full support, but a quiet home is what he needs so that he can settle and feel less anxious at his own pace. For this reason, we are looking for a pet- and child-free home.
