Meet adoptable deaf 9 month old bully puppy Luke who is looking for a special loving home with someone who will cherish him, make daily positive reinforcement training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep him safe.
From his rescue advocate: Luke is a 9-month-old Pit Bull puppy with a special difference — he’s deaf. But that doesn’t slow him down at all! Luke is already learning hand signals and visual cues (similar to ASL), and he’ll come with a guide to help his new family communicate with him.
Luke is playful, affectionate, and very people-oriented. He loves tug-of-war, chasing balls, and cuddling with his humans. He does great with children and enjoys playing with his foster dog siblings. Cats are still a mystery to him, but he’s curious and learning.

uke thrives on routine and positive reinforcement. Because he relies on visual communication, he’s looking for a patient adopter willing to continue his training and help him build confidence. He can be shy at first, but once he bonds with you, he becomes incredibly loving and loyal.
He does have some quirks — stairs and heights can be confusing for him, and he may need help getting down from furniture or out of a car — but with guidance and consistency he continues to improve every day.
Luke may not hear you call his name, but he will watch you, trust you, and love you with his whole heart.
